When twelve year old Alfred grows up, he wants to teach people about his condition - Asperger syndrome. The purpose of this video was to explore Asperger's through Alfred's eyes, thus giving him a voice to teach.

The video project was born after I took a series of pictures of Alfred and discovered that he felt disempowered and shocked by my pictures as still images struggle to give enough context. I therefore asked if he would work with me to better tell his story.

Alfred not only worked with me but gave me creative opportunities beyond what I could achieve in (my first ever!) five minute video. I intend on extending beyond the video by forming an interactive website that properly presents Alfred's creative input in a way that compliments the nature of Asperger's syndrome.
